But we still have a long way to go...
the summer of 2008, 30 students emerged from seven classroom trailers and courageously took to the field as a football team. Their field? An abandoned lot in the shadow of their hurricane-devastated high school. These students have inspired a group of young, ambitious individuals to resurrect a community and change the outcome of a forgotten neighborhood. Together we can prove that against formidable odds, a few people crazy enough to believe in their own power to create change can overcome a seemingly impossible challenge.

The Challenge: Raise $1.85 million and raise the bar on what was once thought to be possible.
Our Goal: Bring opportunity and hope to a neighborhood struggling to get back on its feet.
The Results: A state-of-the art football field and track that will be enjoyed by all public schools and community members free of charge.
The Opportunity: Show others that the actions of just a few inspired and unique individuals can truly create change, empower a community, and have a lasting impact. Change can start with you!
What You Can Do: You can support us and own a piece of this dream by purchasing bricks on the Walkway of Hope for $100 each. Please donate here. We encourage you to share our vision with as many people as possible. Let's make this year a memorable one for a community truly in need of something to celebrate.
